I can't believe I didn't review this the first time I read it over on Teaspoon. I really liked having the Doctor run into his past with both Rose and Jack there; as a precursor to finding the Daleks again it explains his reactions with the Delta Wave so much. It's not that the Doctor turns his Companions into killers; it's that they love him so much they'd kill to spare him pain. The only thing I'm having trouble with is seeing this as an OT3 fic like you recommended; this is a Jack/Nine story, as you said, and while Rose helped the Doctor in the other TARDIS, ultimately she wasn't a major part of what was going on.

Originally the intention was for it to be OT3, and the more I wrote it, the more I realized it was really a Jack/Doctor story. And you're right: it was probably an inappropriate rec--but I hope you enjoyed it anyway.

Oh, I definitely enjoyed it! Makes me feel even more sorry for the Master's TARDIS, too.
